About Jarvis Remodeling
Jim Jarvis started Jarvis Remodeling in Boise in 1991. More than 500 remodels later, it’s still family owned, and the phone number on this site rings Jim.
Jim’s goal has always been to make remodeling as smooth and stress-free as he can. He sees it as an honor to help Treasure Valley families with their homes.
What we believe
- Do the work right. Careful work that looks good and holds up.
- Communicate clearly. You always know what happens next.
- Treat people well. Respect, courtesy, promptness, thoroughness and fairness on every job.
What we do
We remodel bathrooms, kitchens, basements and whole homes. We also do drywall and general contracting, including decks. On every job we manage the work from permits to installation.
How a Jarvis remodel goes
- Get inspired. Save photos of rooms you like. Think about budget.
- Tell Jim about it. Answer a few quick questions or call or text 208-780-9932.
- Call and walk the project. A quick intro call, then Jim comes out and walks it with you.
- Accept the bid. You get a free written bid. Say yes and we put you on the schedule.
- We build it. We manage the job, from permits to installation.
- Done, and we stay in touch. We walk the finished job with you. Then we keep in touch. We love hearing from clients years later.
What homeowners say
Jim saved our old house. 1907 Queen Anne in the North End, fire in March 2023 which required a full gut job. Previous drywaller did the most horrendous work. Jim came in like a guardian angel, had it all ripped out, and put it back up in a week. Professional, incredibly detail-oriented, and excellent communicator. Everything you want but don’t get in other contractors. Highly recommend.
Ali Bastian, North End, Boise
Communication, dependability and finished product all consistently exceed expectations, and they are also just great people who are fun to work with.
