Finished basement with stone fireplace

Sometimes one room isn’t enough. The whole house feels dated, the basement sits unfinished, or the family has outgrown the space. We take on the big jobs: whole-home remodels, basement finishes and room additions.

We’ve done more than 500 remodels in the Treasure Valley since 1991. Diane’s whole basement is one of them. Watch her story on our home page. We manage the job from permits to installation, so you have one person to call.

What we do

  • Kitchen and bathroom remodels as part of a bigger project

Homeowners say

Jim saved our old house. 1907 Queen Anne in the North End, fire in March 2023 which required a full gut job. Previous drywaller did the most horrendous work. Jim came in like a guardian angel, had it all ripped out, and put it back up in a week. Professional, incredibly detail-oriented, and excellent communicator. Everything you want but don't get in other contractors. Highly recommend.

Ali Bastian, North End, Boise

Communication, dependability and finished product all consistently exceed expectations, and they are also just great people who are fun to work with.

Good questions

How long does a whole-home remodel take?

It depends on the size of the project. A basement or a few rooms might take several weeks. A full home remodel can take a few months. Jim goes over timing with you when he walks the house.

Can we live in the house during the remodel?

Usually, yes. Some rooms will be off limits for a while. Jim tells you which ones, and when, before work starts.

Do you finish basements?

Yes. We take basements from bare studs to finished space with bedrooms, a bathroom and a family room.

Do I need a plan before I start?

No. Tell us what you want the house to do for you, and we'll help with the layout, materials and details.

Will you handle permits and building codes?

Yes. We pull the permits, set up the inspections and make sure the work meets local code.
